BSPA™ LIFESTYLE PRINCIPLES
The BSPA™ Lifestyle Principles have been designed to be easy to follow, implemented at your own pace until they form part of your daily routine and become habitual. Remember that there will always be set backs, but consistency is the key to achieving your goals.
- Eat 5 to 6 small balanced meals every day
- Include Protein, Carbohydrates and Fats in each meal
- Consume daily the right amount of protein to support your muscle mass
- Perform Intense Resistance Training a minimum of 3 times per week
- Perform Intense cardiovascular exercise a minimum of 30 minutes 3 times per week.
- Incorporate Flexibility, Agility, Strength, Power, Endurance, Core strength and Functional Training
- Implement a healthy, sustainable nutrition plan.
- Utilise supplements to complement your nutrition.
- Allow adequate recovery time between training days.
- Be consistant with your training and nutrition programs.
- Set goals
- Measure your progress once a month.
- Create a work / lifestyle balance.
- Make sure you get 8 hours sleep per night.
- Cut soft drink, fast foods (especially fried) and sweets from your daily eating.
- Allow yourself 1 cheat day per week.
