Well it's been 3 weeks now since getting spinal surgery. Fusion on the L5/S1 and an artificial disc replacement on level L4/5. Operation went well, was walking the day after, off pain killers after the 3rd day and am feeling pretty good at the 3 week mark. Not ment to be doing anything for the first 6 weeks but feel like i can do more then what I am supposed to. At this stage I feel that the operation did what it was ment to (get rid of constant back pain - i could not even sit for more then 30 minutes and standing for a few hours was agony) but I dont want to get ahead of myself yet although I am feeling confident I'll hold my breath until the 3 month mark and I should have a better idea of how well it went by then.
